Job Title: | Radiologic Technician |
Job Duties: | • Provides ultrasound examination using high frequency sound waves for the purpose of diagnosis anatomic and physiology disorders • Select equipment for use in ultrasound test ordered by physician • Explains procedures to patients, records additional medical history considered necessary; and instructs and assists patient in anatomic and physical position for required exposure to ultrasonic waves • Operates equipment applying appropriate examining techniques and observes sound waves display to note ultrasound pattern produces checking for factors such as position, obstruction or change of shape; determines if the images are satisfactory for diagnostic procedures • Performed OB-GYN, pelvic, abdominal guided ultrasound • Practices sterile technique and prevents cross contamination to patients and instruments • Obtains permanent record of internal examination and insures accurate record • Take good quality radiograph • Exercises initiative and judgment involved in determining proper anatomic posture for patient depending on areas to be photographed, calculating expose and avoiding unnecessary discomfort and handling of patient • Uses equipment to minimize hazards of patients and personnel. Care for and operates X-ray equipment and safely handles X-ray films to prevent deterioration • Keep examination rooms clean, safe and orderly before and after each procedure • Attends to each patient promptly and courteously making sure the utmost comfort is given |

Qualification Requirements: | Must hold no more than an Associates Degree in Radiology Technology, six (6) months employment experience/knowledge with practice partner software in electronic health records usage, must have experience in electronic health and practice partner records, required licensed by the CNMI Medical Professional Licensing Board and experience or related field. |

Comments: | The job opportunity is a full-time position beginning on October 01, 2021 to September 30, 2024. The employer will make deductions from employee’s paycheck as required by law. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: The employer guarantees to offer each employee employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. If a worker voluntarily abandons employment or is terminated for a cause, the employer is not required to guarantee three-fourths of the work contract. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker’s transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker voluntary abandoned of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. |
