Job Title:	CUSTODIAL WORKER
Job Duties:	Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, removing rubbish. Duties may include performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of need for repairs, and cleaning debris on school yard. -Service, clean, or supply restrooms, -Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming. -Gather and empty trash. -Follow the procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floor and fixtures. -Mix water and detergents or sanitizer in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications. -Lock windows and doors to secure building. -Sweep walkways and mow portion of the yard not cemented. -Must be able to work flexible hours as cleaning are usually performed when offices are closed. -Must be of excellent health to lift or use heavy cleaning equipment, furnitures and fixtures. -Must be able to inspect and analyze equipment and structures to identify problems, defects or need for repair and report to President. -Must be able to turn on the generator when there is power outage. -Perform other related duties, as necessary.

Qualification Requirements:	Work experience required is 12 months current and progressive as janitor, cleaner, or custodial worker. Must be of good physical health to perform duties. Ability to bend, stretch, twist, body, arms, and legs. Job requires dependability, reliability, responsible, and completing tasks. Must be able to perform general physical activities. Must be able to handle and move furniture and equipment. Must be able to prepare report for communicating status of project, facility and material inventory. Must be able to communicate, comprehend speak, read and write in basic English language. REQUIRED BEFORE START OF WORK: POLICE CLEARANCE AND HEALTH CERTIFICATE. Comments:	THE JOB OPPORTUNITY IS A TEMPORARY, FULL-TIME POSITION COMMENCING ON OCTOBER 1, 2021 TO SEPTEMBER 30, 2024 THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: WORKERS WILL BE OFFERED EMPLOYMENT FOR A TOTAL NUMBER OF WORK HOURS EQUAL TO AT LEAST THREE FOURTHS OF THE WORKDAYS OF THE TOTAL PERIOD THAT BEGINS WITH THE FIRST WORKDAY AFTER THE ARRIVAL OF THE WORKER AT THE PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT OR THE ADVERTISED CONTRACTUAL FIRST DATE OF NEED, WHICHEVER IS LATER, AND ENDS ON THE EXPIRATION DATE SPECIFIED IN THE WORK CONTRACT OR IN ITS EXTENSIONS, IF ANY. UPON COMPLETION OF THE WORK CONTRACT OR WHERE THE WORKER IS DISMISSED EARLIER, THE EMPLOYER WILL PROVIDE OR PAY FOR THE WORKER'S REASONABLE COSTS OF RETURN TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE BACK HOME OR TO THE PLACE THE WORKER ORIGINALLY DEPARTED TO WORK, EXCEPT WHERE THE WORKER WILL NOT RETURN DUE TO SUBSEQUENT EMPLOYMENT WITH ANOTHER EMPLOYER OR WHERE THE EMPLOYER HAS APPROPRIATELY REPORTED A WORKER'S VOLUNTARY ABANDONMENT OF EMPLOYMENT.
