Job Title: LEAD BUILDING & MAINTENANCE WORKER
Job Duties: Under the general supervision of the HMBI's Operating Manager, performs a variety of semi-skilled and/or skilled tasks in building and machinery maintenance including providing lead worker assistance to supervisory and/or management staff as needed. Exercise direct field supervision over staff engaged in service, maintenance and repairs; inspects and/or repairs equipment at frequent interval to insure that all equipment are safe and functioning properly; maintains a variety of records relating to inspections, maintenance activity and materials supply; determines and labels the locations of electrical wiring system, telephone wiring system, and computer network system for easy access during repairs; Ensures the proper maintenance of equipment and tools assigned to their area of responsibility by checking equipment and tools and maintaining maintenance records, and refers defects to supervisory staff; Safely operates vehicles/equipment of various sizes and weights in the loading, hauling and unloading of various equipment, and other job functions; operates pneumatic tools and power tools; Oversees and participates in construction and maintenance projects as part of a crew, including laying pipe, trenching and backfilling, determines safety of job sites and reports information to the operations manager, in conformance with established professional practices and safe working methods; Performs skilled work in the repair and testing of pumps, motors, control systems and related equipment; performs vehicles routine service; Reads, tests and repairs air conditioning units; bakery chiller display; walk-in freezer; performs heavy manual labor as required. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements: Requires 6-months construction and maintenance training, 12-months work experience, OSHA Compliance training & Refrigeration troubleshooting training.
