Job Duties: | ARRANGE MOVEMENT OF INBOUND AND OUTBOUND SHIPMENTS TO THEIR DESTINATION. PREPARE MANIFEST AND PROCESS OUTBOUND AND INBOUND AIRLINE’S DOCUMENT REQUIREMENTS. NOTIFIES CONSIGNEES ON ARRIVAL OF SHIPMENT AND ARRANGE PICK-UP AND DELIVERY. DAILY INTERACTION WITH KEY CLIENT PERSONNEL. WORK WITH MULTIPLE DEPARTMENTS TO PREPARE BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS FOR INTER-COMPANY ACCOUNTING SYSTEM. BALANCES, GENERATE JOURNAL ENTRIES TO CLEAR OR SETTLE ACCOUNT BALANCES. IDENTIFY AND COMMUNICATE PROCESS IMPROVEMENT OPPORTUNITIES REGARDING INTER-COMPANY RELATIONSHIPS. SEND WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS VIA EMAIL, FAX ETC. TO CUSTOMERS REGARDING OUTSTANDING BALANCES. COMPLETE AS REQUESTED, MONTH-END PROCESS, I.E., CLIENT REPORTS, MONTH END REPORTS, AD HOC REPORTS. UPDATE WORKING LOGS ON A DAILY BASIS. UPDATE DAILY FUNCTIONS OF AIR EXPORTS AS REQUIRED BY TSA. |

SKILL TO USE A PERSONAL COMPUTER, PRINTER, FAX MACHINE AND SCANNER. KNOWLEDGE OF MICROSOFT OFFICE (EXCEL, WORD, POWERPOINT) EFFECTIVE INTERPERSONAL SKILLS, INCLUDING PROVEN ABILITIES TO LISTEN, COMPREHEND, EFFECTIVELY COMMUNICATE CLEARLY AND CONCISELY TO OBTAIN POSITIVE RESULTS. ABILITY TO ESTABLISH PRIORITIES, WORK INDEPENDENTLY, AND PROCEED WITH OBJECTIVES WITHOUT SUPERVISION. ABILITY TO IDENTIFY, REPORT AND EXECUTE ON RECURRING PROBLEMS. |

Comments: | (1) EMPLOYMENT BASIS & DURATION - THIS JOB OPPORTUNITY IS FOR A TEMPORARY, FULL-TIME POSITION, COMMENCING ON OCTOBER 1, 2021 TO SEPTEMBER 30, 2024 (2) WORK HOURS-EMPLOYEES HIRED UNDER THIS ANNOUNCEMENT WILL WORK ON FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT AT LEAST (40) FORTY HOURS PER WEEK. (3) THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE-WORKERS WILL BE OFFERED EMPLOYMENT FOR A TOTAL NUMBER OF WORK HOURS EQUAL TO AT LEAST THREE FOURTHS OF THE WORKDAYS OF THE TOTAL PERIOD THAT BEGINS WITH THE FIRST WORKDAY AFTER THE ARRIVAL OF THE WORKER AT THE PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT OR THE ADVERTISED CONTRACTUAL FIRST DATE OF NEED, WHICHEVER IS LATER, AND ENDS ON THE EXPIRATION DATE SPECIFIED IN THE WORK CONTRACT OR IN ITS EXTENSIONS, IF ANY. (4) INBOUND/OUTBOUND TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE-THE EMPLOYER SHALL PAY FOR ALL INBOUND TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE FROM THE PLACE OF RECRUITMENT TO THE PLACE OF WORK. UPON THE COMPLETION OF THE WORK CONTRACT, OR WHERE THE WORKER IS DISMISSED EARLIER, THE EMPLOYER WILL PROVIDE OR PAY FOR WORKER'S REASONABLE COSTS OF RETURN TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE BACK HOME OR TO THE PLACE THE WORKER ORIGINALLY DEPARTED TO WORK, EXCEPT WHERE THE WORKER WILL NOT RETURN DUE TO SUBSEQUENT EMPLOYMENT WITH ANOTHER EMPLOYER OR WHERE THE EMPLOYER HAS APPROPRIATELY REPORTED A WORKER'S VOLUNTARY ABANDONMENT OF EMPLOYMENT.
