| Job Duties: | Construct, erect, install and repairs structures and fixtures using such materials as wood, wall board, plastics, fiberglass or drywall. Read blue prints, sketches or building plans to determine type of work required, layout and materials needed. erects frameworks for structure and lays sub floor board. Erects scaffolding or ladders for assembling structures. Perform work with fabricated buildings. Builds and/ or install partitions, door, frameworks, stairs, mantles, cabinet or other wooden fixtures. Install structures or fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, trim and hardwar, replaces panes of glass, ceiling, tiles and doors, constructs forms or chutes for pouring concrete, uses levels rulers, plum bobs, framing squares and surveying equipment to ensure everything is level and secure. Works on top of stilts, ladder and top of the beams of buildings. Finishes surface of woodwork or wallboards of house and building. |
