| Job Duties: | assembles, install and repair pipes, fittings and fixtures of water heater and drainage systems according to specifications and plumbing codes. Studies building plans and drawing to determine work aids required and sequence of installations, inspect structure to ascertain obstruction to be avoided, to prevent weakening of structure resulting from installation of pipes locate and marks position of pipes and pipes connections and passage holes for pipes in walls and floors using the ruler, spirit level and plumb bob. Cuts opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fitting using hand and power tools. Cuts thread pipe using pipe cutters, cutting torch and pipe over block and bending it. Assembles and install insulation, valves, pipe fittings, hose system. Do the final testing to ensure compliance with specifications and code requirements. |
