Job Duties: | Designs and prepares or supervises the design and preparation of audit plans for clients in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards. Determines scope of investigation required and designs audit plans to assess the client’s effectiveness of its financial controls, accuracy of financial records, and efficiency of operations. Inspects or supervises inspection of client’s financial records and financial statements in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards, including review of data regarding material assets, net worth, liabilities, capital stock, surplus, income, expenditures, and other financial data to ensure accuracy of the financial statements and that the financial statements and appended notes include the disclosures necessary for a fair presentation of the financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Examines and evaluates client’s financial systems and internal controls to ensure that records are accurate and controls are adequate to protect against fraud and error. Evaluates clients financial and operational efficiency and compliance with government regulations, in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards. Performs detailed reviews of the audit work prepared by subordinate auditors and provides on-the-job training, coaching, and performance feedback. Prepares findings and recommendations for presentation to audit clients. |

Comments: | DELOITTE & TOUCHE LLC is looking to fill one (1) AUDIT ASSISTANT MANAGER position in Saipan, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. Work will be performed only at DELOITTE & TOUCHE LLC, SAIPAN, Northern Mariana Islands, CNMI. This is a TEMPORARY, full-time position and we are looking to fill the job opening for employment from 12/01/2020 to 11/30/2021. Terms & Conditions of Employment: Worker will be paid no less than $25.10 per hour. The employer will offer 40 hours of work per week. Hourly work schedule is 8:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m. Transportation: The employer will not provide daily transportation to and from the worksite locations in Saipan. If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Board, Lodging, or Other Facilities: The employer will not provide board, lodging, or other facilities. Tools Equipment & Supplies: The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Three-Fourths Guarantee: The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. Miscellaneous: The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Workers will be paid bi-weekly by check. The employer will make all the payroll deductions from the worker’s paycheck required by federal and local law and will not make any deductions which are not required by law.
