| Job Duties: | Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities, based on work priority, quantity of equipment, and skill of personnel Inspect and monitor work areas, examine tools and equipment, and provide employee safety training to prevent, detect, and correct unsafe conditions or violations of procedures and safety rules Inspect, test, and measure completed work, using devices such as hand tools or gauges to verify conformance to standards or repair requirements Conduct or arrange for worker training in safety, repair, or maintenance techniques, operational procedures, or equipment use Examine objects, systems, or facilities and analyze information to determine needed installations, services, or repairs Monitor tool and part inventories and the condition and maintenance of shops to ensure adequate working conditions Perform skilled repair or maintenance operations, using equipment such as hand or power tools, hydraulic presses or shears, or welding equipment Recommend or initiate personnel actions, such as hires, promotions, transfers, discharges, or disciplinary measures Review, evaluate, accept, and coordinate completion of work bid from contractors. | Comments: | This job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position with employment period beginning on 02/19/2021 to 02/18/2024. Work days will be Monday to Friday and work hours will be 9:00AM to 5:00PM. Worker will be provided with daily transportation to and from worksite in compliance with all applicable Federal and Commonwealth laws and regulations. The employer also offers the THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE as required by 20 CFR 665.423 (f) wherein a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of worker at the place of employment of the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the employee completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse or advance payment for the worker’s transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to the subsequent employment with another employer or where the employment has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment.
