Job Title: | Assistant Manager, Food & Beverage |
Job Duties: | Responsible on establishing and maintaining guest services in F&B department. The position is responsible in supporting for the various tasks involved in the overall operation of the restaurant, including measuring business trends and maximizing sales/profitability by developing staff and by controlling expenses, shortages and all aspects of the F&B Department. Monitor compliance with health regulations regarding food preparation and serving in dining facilities. Monitor food preparation and service methods, portion sizes, and garnishing and presentation of food to ensure that food is prepared and presented in an acceptable manner. Also, counting money is part of the job. Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality, service, or accommodations. Coordinate assignments of wait staff to ensure efficiency and proper guest service performance and prepare their work schedules. Assist in training staff & supervisors. Moreover, arrange functions with guests and attend managers’ meetings. Report on status of functions, and staff performance. Assist with supervisor and wait staff duties from time to time. Performs other duties as assigned. |

Qualification Requirements: | High school diploma and/or GED equivalent and 12 months supervisory experience in restaurant operations. Knowledge of food service operations and a variety of styles of services. Must be able to work well under pressure; lift at least 50 lbs; work nights, weekends, and holidays; obtain a food handlers certificate; and Alcohol Beverage Tobacco Control Certification; and have knowledge in proper food handling and sanitation practices. The food handlers certificate and the Alcohol Beverage Tobacco Control Certification will be equally applied to both U.S. workers and CW-1 workers. |

Comments: | The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing on October 01, 2020 to September 30, 2023. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total of number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period and begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment of the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: required by 20 CFR655.423(j)(l); If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide reimburse, or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon the completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable cost of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Frequency of pay: Bi-weekly, subjected to mandatory payroll tax deduction required by law (20 CFR 655.423(h). Upon conclusion of the job opportunity, employer will provide the return transportation and substance to the place of origin or place of recruitment (20 CFR 655.423(k)(1)) Employer-Provided Tools and Equipment: Workers will be provided, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned (20 CFR 655.423(k)).This is a non-exempt position and is eligible to receive overtime compensation in accordance to The Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
