Job Duties: SET THE FORMS THAT HOLD THE CONCRETE TO THE DESIRED PITCH AND DEPTH, AND ALIGN THEM; CHECK THE FORMS THAT HOLD THE CONCRETE TO SEE THAT THEY ARE PROPERLY CONSTRUCTED; SPREAD, LEVEL AND SMOOTH CONCRETE USING RAKE, SHOVEL, HAND OR POWER TROWEL, HAND OR POWER SCREED AND FLOAT; MOLD EXPANSION JOINTS AND EDGES, USING EDGING TOOLS, JOINTERS AND STRAIGHTEDGE; READ PLANS, INSTRUCTIONS OR SPECIFICATIONS TO DETERMINE WORK ACTIVITIES; LOAD, UNLOAD OR IDENTIFY BUILDING MATERIALS, MACHINERY, OR TOOLS, DISTRIBUTING THEM TO THE APPROPRIATE LOCATIONS,ACCORDING TO PROJECT PLAN OR SPECIFICATIONS; SIGNAL TRUCK DRIVER TO POSITION TRUCK TO FACILITATE POURING CONCRETE AND MOVE CHUTE TO DIRECT CONCRETE ON FORMS; PRODUCE ROUGH CONCRETE SURFACE, USING BROOM; APPLY HARDENING AND SEALING COMPOUNDS TO CURE SURFACE OF CONCRETE AND WATERPROOF OR RESTORE SURFACE; OPERATE POWER VIBRATOR TO COMPACT CONCRETE; MIX CEMENT, SAND AND WATER TO PRODUCE CONCRETE, GROUTOR SLURRY USING HOE, TROWEL, TAMPER, SCRAPER OR CONCRETE MIXING MACHINE; CHIP, SCRAPE AND GRIND HIGH SPOTS, RIDGES AND ROUGH PROJECTIONS TO FINISH CONCRETE, USING PNEUMATIC CHISELS, POWER GRINDERS OR HAND TOOLS; CUT OUT DAMAGED AREAS, DRILL HOLES FOR REINFORCING RODS AND POSITION REINFORCING RODS TO REPAIR CONCRETE USING POWER SAW AND DRILL;CLEAN CHIPPED AREA USING WIRE BRUSH AND FEEL AND OBSERVE SURFACE TO DETERMINE IF IT IS ROUGH OR UNEVEN; BUILD WOODEN MOLDS AND CLAMP MOLDS AROUND AREA TO BE REPAIRED USING HAND TOOLS; FABRICATE CONCRETE BEAMS, COLUMNS AND PANELS; POLISH SURFACE USING POLISHING OR SURFACING MACHINE; CUT METAL DIVISION STRIPS AND PRESS THEM INTO TERRAZZO BASE SO THAT TOP EDGES FORM DESIRED DESIGN OR PATTERN; PUSH ROLLER OVER SURFACE TO EMBED CHIPS IN SURFACE; CLEAN OR PREPARE CONSTRUCTION SITES TO ELIMINATE POSSIBLE HAZARDS.

Fringe Benefits: The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing on October 1, 2020 to September 30, 2021.Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. THREE-FOURTH GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extension, if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place or recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved.
