Job Duties: | Have a thorough knowledge of section equipment and procedures, perform all assigned duties by section supervisors, including identification, sorting, cleaning, pressing, inspection, repairing, recording & distribution Maintain a high standard of service excellence to guests, employees and departments requiring laundry services and items allocation Attend to service desk when required to ensure a fast and efficient service is provided to employees & departments at all time Collect and examine laundered items for cleanliness and serviceability Ensure all items and documents are filed and sorted efficiently and accurately Ensure uniforms and linens are correctly maintained and repaired Transport dirty linens from linen chute to laundry cart for washing Sort soiled uniforms and linens and place into designated laundry trolleys/bag Spot check clean linens for tears, stains when issuing to the related departments Assists Supervisor in inspecting incoming new uniforms and linens to ensure quality meets company specifications before washing Check and tidy uniform and linen spare stock to ensure located in correct position Ensure damaged uniforms and linens are stored in designated location and disposed of correctly Wash, dry, dry-clean, iron and pack laundry items under the direction of the Supervisor and meet productivity targets on schedule Collect guest laundry from rooms, maintaining guest room security Manage guest requests in line with company brand standards Sorts, identifies and reports any defected guest laundry to Supervisor Provide laundry, dry-cleaning, pressing, sewing, and other similar services to guests Examines laundered guest laundry to ensure cleanliness and serviceability Return guest laundry to rooms, maintaining guest room security Ensure efficient and proper operation of laundry equipment Cleans and maintains all laundry room equipment Handles all laundry cleaning agents according to set regulations Have a thorough knowledge of safety & security procedures in cruise ship. Participate in all training concerning safety & security, fire prevention, evacuation exercises as required by the company Provide cleaning services by following established checklists and internal standards in an efficient and thorough manner Shampoo carpeted areas and perform general maintenance of wood and marble surfaces Check and refill mini bar products and amenities in pantries in accordance with established checklists in an efficient and thorough manner Maintain and provide general cleaning of guest landing and corridor as assigned Delivery of special amenities and set up for guest rooms, as may be required Maintain knowledge of the Hotel and guest rooms including facilities, restocking requirement and operations to ensure the quest queries can be answered or referred promptly Adhere to all established health and safety requirements to ensure the safety of our staff and patrons Report accidents, injuries, unsafe work conditions and/or security issues to supervisors Ensure support is provided to the section when required Adhere to the company policies and procedures and comply with the Code of Conduct Perform other related duties as assigned |

Qualification Requirements: | Previous relevant experiences is an advantage, preferably with 5 star luxury hotel or large scale laundry setup. knowledge of floor maintenance machines, eg. Single disc, floor polisher, vacuums ability for marble, granite, vinyl floor treatment skills are an advantage. High School Diploma / GED required. physical mobility and stamina, responsible, self-motivated and independent able to work on flexible shifts including overnight, weekends and holidays on rotation basis. Fluent in English. ability to speak Chinese, Japanese, or Korean. Ability to multi-task. Employees hired under this announcement will work on full time employment thirty-five (35) hours per week. There are three rotating shifts per day from Monday to Sunday: (A) Day Shift will be from 6:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. (B) Swing Shift will be from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. (C) Night Shift will be from 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. |

Comments: | [1] EMPLOYMENT BASIS & DURATION: This job opportunity is for a temporary, full-time position. [2] WORK HOURS: Employees hired under this announcement will work on full time employment thirty-five (35) hours per week. There are three rotating shifts per day from Monday to Sunday: (A) Day Shift will be from 6:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. (B) Swing Shift will be from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. (C) Night Shift will be from 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. Employee hired under this announcement will be rotated through each of the three shifts. [3] THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual fist date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. [4] INBOUND/OUTBOUND TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: The Employer shall pay for all inbound transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract, or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. [5] FIRST WORK WEEK REIMBURSEMENT: Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees). [6] TOOLS, SUPPLIES & EQUIPMENT: Workers will be provided at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Furthermore, workers will be supplied at no charge all safety clothing and equipment. Company will require all workers to wear such clothing and equipment always during work. [7] HOUSING: The employer will provide optional housing at $25.00 per week, during the employment. [8] EMPLOYEE MEAL: The employees will be provided one (1) duty meal per day at no expense for the duration of the employment.
