Job Duties: | *Leads a team of bakers in producing baked goods in a bakery. *Check products for quality and identify damaged or expired goods. *Check the quality of raw materials to ensure that standards and specifications are met. *Check bakery equipment to ensure that it meets health and safety regulations and perform maintenance or cleaning, as necessary. *Order or receive supplies or equipment. *Prepare or maintain inventory or production records. *Develop new recipes for baked goods. *Recommends shift schedules of each employee based upon the coverage needs of the bakery for management approval. *Takes customer orders, answers questions, hears complaints and makes suggestions based on the matter presented. *Conduct tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance. |

Qualification Requirements: | *Must have at least 12-months previous bakery experience. *Must possess basic math skills. *Must be able to understand and implement written and verbal instructions. *Must obtain a food handler's certificate from the CNMI Department of Public Health. *Job duties require standing and walking for most of the entire shift. *Must have finger dexterity to use some utensils, equipment, and scale for developing, evaluating and implementing new recipes. *Must be able to work on flexible hours including holidays, weekends, early morning shift & evening shift. *Extensive knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other technique to maximize the manufacturing and distribution of goods. |

Comments: | EMPLOYMENT BASIS & DURATION: This job opportunity is for a temporary, full-time position beginning October 1, 2020 and ending September 30, 2021. WORK HOURS: Employees hired under this announcement will work on full-time employment of forty (40) hours per week. THREEFOURTHS GUARANTEE. Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual fist date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or its extensions, if any. INBOUND/OUTBOUND TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE. The employer shall pay for all inbound transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract, or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. PROVISION OF TOOLS, SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT. Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job duties. RECRUITMENT INFORMATION.
