Job Title: Accountant
Job Duties: Prepares and Analyze accounting records, financial statements and other financial reports. Checks and records general journal entries, receivables, payables and bank deposits. Prepares payroll and taxes and all other forms for taxes and reporting compliance. Responsible for Quickbooks updates . Prepares schedules and analyze reports for management purposes. Prepares costing on contract proposals. Prepares permit and license applications as required by Federal and CNMI government. Deals with various customers and vendors. Develop, maintain and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted cost to actuals. Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns such as EWRT, BGRT, 941-SS and other tax forms. Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards. Review accounts for discrepancies and reconcile differences. Prepare adjusting entries. Establish table of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts. Develop, implement, modify and document record keeping and accounting systems such as Quickbooks. Prepare company payroll. Prepare bank balance. Report to management regarding the finances of establishments. Analyze business operation, costs, sales and financial commitments to project revenues and expenses. Advise management on resource utilization and assumptions underlying budget forecasts. Operate computers, copiers and other office equipment required to perform the job.

Qualification Requirements: Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with at least 3 years of experience. PC proficient and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Software and Quickbooks. Knowledge on U.S. generally accepted accounting principles. Good command of English language written and verbal. Has a good moral character and a passion for work. Must be able to present a certificate from previous employer during interview and should be able to provide a police clearance upon hiring. All requirements will be applied equally to both U.S. workers and CW-1 workers.

Comments: The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing on October 1, 2020 to September 30, 2021, the applicants must be residing in the island of Saipan/Tinian to perform the services or labor. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. On-the-job training is not necessary. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
