Job Title: Accountant
Job Duties: Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to access accuracy, completeness and conformance to reporting and procedural standards. Review accounts for discrepancies and reconcile differences. Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts. Report to management regarding the finances of establishment. Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology. Maintain or examine the records of government agencies. Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, or other tax requirements. Provide internal and external auditing services for the business. Prepare forms and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping personnel and direct work activities. Appraise, evaluate, and inventory real property and equipment, recording information such as description, value, and location of property.

Qualification Requirements: Knowledge in Sage Accounting Software, Intuit QuickBooks, Tax Software. Giving full attention to the instructions, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate. Using mathematics to solve problems. Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents. The ability to choose the right mathematical methods or formulas to solve a problem. Must be honest and ethical, reliable, responsible and dependable, fulfilling obligations and able to work in flexible hours. Must have an Associate's degree, 6 months training and minimum of 36 months work experience. Associates degree, 6 months required training and minimum of 36 months work experience.

Fringe Benefits: The job opportunity is temporary, full-time position commencing on October 1, 2020 to September 30, 2021. THREE-FOURTH GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker’s transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved.
