Job Title: | Maintenance Repairer |
Job Duties: | Performance maintenance and repairs of both commercially and privately used fishing tackle equipment. Types of equipment are motorized reels, manually used reels, trolling rods, surf and casting rods, GPS navigation systems, fish finders, pneumatic spear guns, slings and accessories, trolling lures, various baits, submersible lights, flashlights, nets, as well as various air rifles available in a wide range of models. Performance maintenance and repairs of reels extend to having to diagnose malfunctioning systems, identifying parts requiring replacement and/or repair, ordering parts, repairing and thoroughly testing units to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Performance maintenance and repairs of all types of rods also extend to having to identify parts requiring replacement and/or repair and ordering such parts as needed. Repairing requires painting as well as having to skillfully work with threads to tediously wrap small to large rod guides and to apply and dry resin flawlessly to set. Performance maintenance and repairs of submersible lights and flashlights and all other devices require the same of having to be able to diagnose the problem, repairing and/or replacing parts. Additionally, knowledge of electrical and lighting systems is highly important for this job performance. Maintenance repairer is responsible for playing a vital in creating and maintaining loyal customers. Must be able to communicate professionally with customers, management, and co-workers. Analyze needed repairs on fishing equipment. |

Qualification Requirements: | Special requirements for this job opportunity include a minimum of 2 years experience in the design and repair of various fishing tackle equipment as well as the maintenance of such equipment including salt water activities. Most especially, must have knowledge of the uses and details of fishing equipment for various activities. |

Comments: | THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date the work contract or in its extensions, if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer , reimburse, or advance payment for the worker’s transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
