Job Title: Ship Master
Job Duties: Overall commander of the vessel sailing between Saipan Charlie dock to Tinian harbor, assuming the ultimate responsibility for the safety of the vessel which included passengers, vehicle and for the safety of the crew. He is in charge of the ships business, operations, administration and as well the training of the ships staff according to the manners, leading his staff to comply with the rules of discipline, to ensure safe navigation and operations.

Qualification Requirements: Specific skills: Considerable knowledge of and skill in piloting a ferry and in making landings into a ferry slip; considerable knowledge of relevant agency policies and procedures; considerable knowledge of SOLAS regulations and ISM; Management level for navigation, cargo handling and stowage, controlling the operation of ship and care for persons onboard. License: 1.Seafarer Identification Record Book and license endorsements 2. Certificate of competency to operate or navigate type of passenger carrying vessel in accordance with STCW. 3. Management level: Approved training in passenger safety, cargo safety and hull integrity in accordance with STCW code A-V/2, paragraph 4. Approved training in crisis management and human behavior as stated in STCW Code section A-V/2, paragraph 5. 4. Valid First Aid/CPR Certification, and/or ability to obtain and maintain. 5. Fit for duty(need to provide medical certificate of seafarers) 6. Minimum two years experience as chief officer or as master, knowledge, or experience is required. 7. High school diploma or equivalent. All of the above requirements are required for both U.S. and foreign workers
