Job Duties: | In charge of the deck department and is responsible for the discipline of all officers and hands belonging to his department. Arranging the security and safety plan for passengers, periodically checking the security facilities, organizing all crew members in the training of lifesaving and firefighting, instructing deck general workers to give safety instructions to passengers. |

Qualification Requirements: | Specific skills: Considerable knowledge of and skill in keeping the stability of anchors, lifeboats, vehicles and all movable objects on deck when the ferry is underway; considerable knowledge of relevant agency policies and procedures; considerable knowledge of SOLAS regulations and ISM; License: 1.Seafarer Identification Record Book and license endorsements 2. Certificate of competency as chief officer to operate or navigate type of passenger carrying vessel in accordance with STCW. 3. Management level: Approved training in passenger safety, cargo safety and hull integrity in accordance with STCW code A-V/2, paragraph 4. Approved training in crisis management and human behavior as stated in STCW Code section A-V/2, paragraph 5. 4. Valid First Aid/CPR Certification, and/or ability to obtain and maintain 5. Minimum 2 years work experience of related skills and knowledge on ships 6. High school diploma or equivalent. 7. Must Fit for duty 8.Fluency in written and spoken English 9.To hold Master Certificate whenever possible |
