Job Duties: Greet visitors or callers and handle their inquiries or direct them to the appropriate persons according to their needs. Schedule and confirm appointments for clients, customers, or supervisors. Communicate with clients from China or Japan. Arrange conference, meeting, or travel reservations for office personnel. Manage projects or contribute to committee or team work. Coordinate conferences, meetings, or special events, such as luncheons or ceremonies. Maintain scheduling and event calendars. Perform payroll functions, such as maintaining timekeeping information and processing and submitting payroll. Complete forms in accordance with company procedures. Establish work procedures or schedules and keep track of the daily work of clerical staff. Train and assist staff with computer usage. Order and dispense supplies. Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Qualification Requirements: Being able to speak Chinese or Japanese, communicate with Chinese and Japanese clients fluently. Answer telephones and give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals. Greet visitors or callers and handle their inquiries or direct them to the appropriate persons according to their needs. Create, maintain, and enter information into databases. Operate office equipment, such as fax machines, copiers, or phone systems and arrange for repairs when equipment malfunctions. Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology. Able to maintain payroll and keep time records of other employees. Can keep calendars for the officer and the managers.

Comments: This job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position. There is 1 job opening the employer intends to fill. The employee will work from Monday to Friday. 40 hour per week, 8 hours per day. The place of employment will be Garapan Beach Road, QQ Building. Applicants will be reasonably expected to reside in Saipan to perform the services or labor as advertised. Overtime hours will be applicable at 1.5 x the rate indicated on the JVA. The employer will make all deductions from the worker’s paycheck as required by law. The employer guarantees under paragraph (f)(1) to offer each employee employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least threefourths of the workdays of the total period of employment specified in the work contract, beginning with the first workday after the arrival of the employee at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ending on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. If a worker voluntarily abandons employment or is terminated for cause, the employer is not required to guarantee three-fourths of the work contract, as provided under Subsection 655.423(f). Theemployer will provide transportation and subsistence to the employee while traveling from the employee’s origin to the place of employment as well as the return transportation and subsistence at the conclusion of the job opportunity, as required by 20 CFR 655.423(j)(1). The employer will provide without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the duties assigned, in accordance with 20 CFR 655.423(k).
