Job Duties: | Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests of the hotel, answer clients questions regarding the hotel. Contact housekeeping or maintenance staff when guests report problems. Arrange tours, taxis, or restaurant reservations for customers. Make recommendations regarding shopping, dining, or entertainment. Verify customers' credit, and establish how the customer will pay for the accommodation, meal and other activities. Keep records of room availability and guests' accounts, manually or using computers. Review accounts and charges with guests during the check out process. Record guest comments or complaints, referring customers to managers as necessary. Compute bills, collect payments, and make change for guests. Perform bookkeeping activities, such as balancing accounts and conducting nightly audits. Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor. |

Qualification Requirements: | 12 months experience in the tourist industry.Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Has knowledge of local tour industry, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective operation of tour business. Being able to maintain hotel availability records and provide accurate information to clients. Being able to communicate with client effectively and in a friendly way. Being able to understand billing routines of the hotel and tour industry. Being able to communicate and coordinate with tour agents, local restaurants to schedule trip and accommodation. |

Comments: | This job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position. There is 1 job opening the employer intends to fill. The employee will work from Monday to Friday. 40 hour per week, 8 hours per day. The place of employment will be Garapan Beach Road, QQ Building. Applicants will be reasonably expected to reside in Saipan to perform the services or labor as advertised. Overtime hours will be applicable at 1.5 x the rate indicated on the JVA. The employer will make all deductions from the worker’s paycheck as required by law. The employer guarantees under paragraph (f)(1) to offer each employee employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least threefourths of the workdays of the total period of employment specified in the work contract, beginning with the first workday after the arrival of the employee at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ending on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. If a worker voluntarily abandons employment or is terminated for cause, the employer is not required to guarantee three-fourths of the work contract, as provided under Subsection 655.423(f). Theemployer will provide transportation and subsistence to the employee while traveling from the employee’s origin to the place of employment as well as the return transportation and subsistence at the conclusion of the job opportunity, as required by 20 CFR 655.423(j)(1). The employer will provide without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the duties assigned, in accordance with 20 CFR 655.423(k).
