| Job Duties: | Install,service or repair heating and airconditoining system on residences or commercial establishment. Install or repair industrial or commercial refrigerating system. Test pipe tubing, joint, or connection for leaks, using pressure guage or soap-and-water solution. Test electrical circuits or components for continuity, using electrical test equipment. Adjust valve according to specification and charge system with proper type of refrigerant by pumping specified gas or fluid into the system. Repair or replace defective equipment, component or wiring and reassemble repaired parts. Discuss heating or cooling system malfunction with users to isolate problems or to verify that repairs corrected malfunctions. Repair or service heating, vantilating, and airconditioning system to improve efficiency, such as by changing filters, cleaning ducts, or refilling non toxic refrigerant. |
