Job Title: Medical Equipment Repairer
Job Duties: Assist in maintaining and repairing wide variety of systems (i.e. oxygen enrichment systems, reverse osmosis, medical vacuum, etc.). Test, adjust, or repair biomedical or electromedical equipment. Inspect and test malfunctioning medical or related equipment, folowing manufacturer's specifications and using test and analysis instruments. Test or calibrate components or equipment, following manufacturer's manuals and trouble shooting techniques, using hand tools, power tools, or measuring devices. Keep records of maintenance, repair and required updates of equipment. Perform preventive maintenance or service, such as cleaning lubricating, or adjusting equipment. Test, evaluate and classify excess or in-use medical equipment and determine serviceability, condition, and disposition, in accordance with regulations.

Qualification Requirements: The position requires working in the acute health care environment to assist in maintaining and repairing wide variety of systems, life safety systems and general biomedical/dental equipment. Preferably had a previous work related experience and must be able to work under close supervision of Biomedical Service Engineer and possess basic knowledge of Electronics or Electricity. Minimum of two year degree in Electronics or Electricity. Willing to work on flexible schedule.

Comments: The job opportunity is a temporary, full time position commencing on July 15, 2020 to July 14, 2021. THREE FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
