| Job Duties: | Cut, trim, bone, tie, and grind meats, such as beef, pork, poultry, using high speed Biro 3334 band-saws and Bizerba meat slicer and other butcher tools. Estimate requirements and order or requisition meat supplies to maintain inventories. Negotiate with representatives from supply companies to determine order details. Prepare and place meat cuts and products in display counter, so they will appear attractive and catch the shopper's eye. Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers. Receive, inspect, and store meat upon delivery, to ensure meat quality. Record quantity of meat received and issued to cooks or keep records of meat sales. Shape, lace, and tie roasts, using boning knife, skewer, and twine. Total sales, and collect money from customers. Wrap, weigh, label, and price cuts of meat using Hobart Wrap Station and Hobart Scales. Keep all meat storage, processes and areas clean and in sanitary condition in accordance to all food safety regulations. |

| Qualification Requirements: | 12 months hands on experience in using US manufactured high speed band saws and automatic slicing machines, preferably Hobart or Biro band saws. Hands on knowledge on maintaining sanitary standards and safety in handling and operating high speed band saws and slicers. Hands on knowledge of meat cuts, meat trimming, fish cutting, displaying and ensuring maximum safety and hazard avoidance in handling seafoods and meat. Knowledge of Hobart scale labeling systems a prerequisite. |

| Comments: | This is a temporary full-time position for three general maintenance workers to work at Pacific Century Inc, dba LJ's II, located at Chalan Pale Arnold Road, Garapan, Saipan. Work schedule of 40 hours per week. The workdays are Mondays to Sundays, for daily 6 hours, during the contract period. The position commences on October 1, 2019, with a one-year employment contract. Upon hiring, worker must reside on Saipan. Three-fourths guarantee: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period of employment specified in the work contract, beginning with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ending on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. Transportation and subsistence: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. No on job training is provided.
