| Job Duties: | Plan, direct, or coordinate activities of an organization or department that serves food and beverages. Maintain food and equipment inventories, and keep inventory records. Monitor food preparation methods, portion sizes, and garnishing and presentation of food to ensure that food is prepared and presented in an acceptable manner. Schedule and receive food and beverage deliveries, checking delivery contents to verify product quality and quantity. Coordinate assignments of cooking personnel to ensure economical use of food and timely preparation. Perform some food preparation or service tasks, such as cooking, clearing tables, and serving food and drinks when necessary. Test cooked food by tasting and smelling it to ensure palatability and flavor conformity. Schedule staff hours and assign duties. Review menus and analyze recipes to determine labor and overhead costs, and assign prices to menu items. Review work procedures and operational problems to determine ways to improve service, performance, or safety. Order and purchase equipment and supplies. Record the number, type, and cost of items sold to determine which items may be unpopular or less profitable. Estimate food, liquor, wine, and other beverage consumption to anticipate amounts to be purchased or requisitioned. Schedule use of facilities or catering services for events such as banquets or receptions, and negotiate details of arrangements with clients. Plan menus and food utilization, based on anticipated number of guests, nutritional value, palatability, popularity, and costs. Establish and enforce nutritional standards for dining establishments, based on accepted industry standards. Create specialty dishes and develop recipes to be used in dining facilities. |

Sufficient knowledge on computer to fulfill management functions is a must. Must be able to handle split shift schedule. Must be flexible with work schedule. |

| Comments: | This job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position and must have at least 12 months work experience. Work days will be Monday-Sunday (one day-off), and work hours will be from 10am to 11pm. Three-Fourths Guarantee: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in it's extensions, if any. Transportation and Subsistence: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
