Job Title: Sales Supervisor
Job Duties: Directs and supervises employees engaged in sales, inventory-taking, reconciling cash receipts or in performing services for customers. Provides customer service by greeting and assisting customers and responding to customer inquiries and promptly resolving customer complaints. Examines merchandise to ensure that it is correctly priced and displayed. Keeps records of purchases, sales, and requisitions. Reviews inventory and sales records to prepare reports for the operation manager.
High School Diploma Required? Yes
Qualification Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Must have at least one (1) year work experience in the supervisory level. Applicant must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking the English and Japanese languages. Must be a self-starter and highly motivated. Must have strong sales and negotiation skills. Must have the ability to build effective relationships with customers. Must know basic math skills. Must have experience with event planning and dealing with social media platforms. Must have photo coordination experience. Must be able to design print advertisements to include but not limited to magazines, newspapers, fliers and tour agent guidebooks. Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs. of weight. Must be able to work flexible hours / shifts, including weekends, nights and holidays. Must be able to work overtime hours when necessary.

Comments: The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing on October 1, 2020 to September 30, 2021. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker’s transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
