Job Title: | CAGE & COUNT SUPERVISOR |
Job Duties: | Cage & Count Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and supervising the activities during Count Operation for casino revenue and resort hotel revenue if necessary to ensure the accuracy and integrity in counting of currency, chips and all valuable items as well as ensuring compliance with all government requirement and internal control policies. Resolve disputes of all Cage functions with Guests when applicable Recommend procedures changes that will yield smoother departmental operations Ensure proper procedures are followed Supervise Cage & Count Cashiers and operations of Cage in the mass or VIP gaming areas Oversee all Cage & Count Cashiers operation, such as operate count machines, drop box opening, sorting/ cash handling, notes stacker and tips collection, documents checking, etc. Interact with internal staff and external guests from Asian and International countries for all cage functions Check cashiers transactions as per policy and procedure Able to handle all Cage & Count related transactions Able to maintain the players' records Provide a positive work environment Encourage teamwork and cooperation within the department, and other departments Evaluate and counsel direct reports in order to maintain and enhance operation of the department Act as a role model to subordinates Provide friendly, efficient and courteous customer service to all internal and external customers Be alert for Guests and other Team Members who need assistance and offer help Work closely with other internal departments to ensure all gaming Guests' needs are handled correctly and professionally Oversee the confidentiality of all gaming records Ensure all count process are running in an efficient and actuate manner. Prepare and ensure all counting report are correct, complete and accurate. Ensure all Count operation comply with all government requirement and internal control policies. Report to Count Management for any exceptional incident. Ensure to maintain a neat and tidy work area Maintain the highest level of security in terms of access control and sensitive keys control within Count Room. Maintain all tools and counting equipment are in good condition for Casino Finance Department. Repair the malfunction count machine if needed. Manage office supplies and inventories for Casino Finance Department. Assist to handle the administrative work in Casino Finance Department. Be aware of all governmental regulations and comply with them Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies Provide outstanding guest service by being consistently helpful and courteous to all Guests Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to Department and Company policies Perform other related duties as assigned. Maintain a working knowledge of various casino policies and procedures. |

Qualification Requirements: | 2 years of experience as a Cage or Count Cashier from a well-established Casino/VIP Junket. High school diploma, GED. Ability to communicate in English and to deal with guests and internal staff from Asian and International countries with Chinese language ability in an advantage. Must have a good knowledge of all aspects of Cage operations, including Front Window, VIP, Main Bank / Marker Bank, Chip Bank. VIP Cage operations is preferred. Should demonstrate good problem solving skills and be capable of performing duties unsupervised Exceptional cash handling skills, including a good knowledge of foreign currency Must have good math abilities, accurately count and verify banks Able to operate a coin counter machine, computer and Slot ticket redemption machine Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel. Knowledge to operate counting machines and equipment Knowledge to operate Casino Management System is an advantage. Polite and friendly Excellent communication, interpersonal and decision making skills Team player who responds quickly to demands and thrives in a high-pressure work environment. Must be able to secure a Commonwealth Casino Commission Gaming License. Able to work on shifts and be flexible regarding work schedules according to business demands. Employees hired under this announcement will work on full time employment thirty-five (35) hours per week. There are three rotating shifts per day from Monday to Sunday: (A) Day Shift will be from 6:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. (B) Swing Shift will be from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. (C) Night Shift will be from 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. |

Comments: | [1] EMPLOYMENT BASIS & DURATION: This job opportunity is for a temporary, full-time position. [2] WORK HOURS: Employees hired under this announcement will work on full time employment thirty-five (35) hours per week. [4] INBOUND/OUTBOUND TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: The Employer shall pay for all inbound transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract, or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. [5] FIRST WORK WEEK REIMBURSEMENT: Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees). [6] TOOLS, SUPPLIES & EQUIPMENT: Workers will be provided at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Furthermore, workers will be supplied at no charge all safety clothing and equipment. Company will require all workers to wear such clothing and equipment always during work. [7] HOUSING: The employer will provide optional housing at $25.00 per week, during the employment. [8] EMPLOYEE MEAL: The employees will be provided one (1) duty meal per day at no expense for the duration of the employment.
