| Job Duties: | Greet customers and ascertain what each customer wants or needs; Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires; Compute sales prices, total purchases, and receive and process cash or credit payment; Prepare merchandise for purchase; Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise; Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers;Ensures availability of merchandise and services by coordinating availability of inventories;Secures merchandise in store by implementing security systems andmeasures;Protects customers by providing a safe and clean store environment;and Maintains professional and technical knowledge by establishing personal networks to enhance sales. |
