Job Title: Accountant
Job Duties: Prepares asset, liability and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information. Documents financial transactions by entering account information. Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options. Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement and other reports. Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents. Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures. Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information. Secures financial information by completing data base backups. Maintains financial security by following internal controls. Prepares payments by verifying documents and requesting disbursements. Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations. Complies with federal, state and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements and advising management on needed action. Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing account information and trends. Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping financial information confidential.

Qualification Requirements: Must be a computer literate with knowledge in accounting program. Possesses a Bachelors Degree in Accounting or equivalent and have at least 2 years work experience.

Comments: The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing on October 01, 2020 to September 30, 2021, the applicants must be residing in the Island of Saipan to perform the services or labor. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. On-the-job training is not necessary. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
