| Job Duties: | Install, service or repair heating and airconditioning system on residence and commerciall establishment. Install and repair commercial and industrial refrigerating system. Test pipe, tubing or connection for leaks, using pressure guage or soap-and-water solution. Test electrical circuits or components for continuity, using electrical equipment. Adjust valve according to specification and charge system with proper type of refrigerant by pumping specified gas or fluid into the system. Repair or replace defective equipment, component or wiring and reassemnle repaired parts. Discuss heating or cooling system malfunctions with users to isolate problems or to verify that repairs connected malfunctions. Repair or service heating, ventilating, and airconditioning (HVAC) system to improve efficiency, such as changing filters, cleaning ducts, or refilling with non toxic refrigerant. |
