Job Title: | Maintenance Repairer |
Job Duties: | The following job duties may be performed at various locations as Marianas Management Corporation provides services to all company buildings and tenants. Help installation, maintenance, and repair work in maintenance, parts replacement, and electrical and electronic equipment. Perform duties, such as furnishing tools, materials, and supplies to other workers; cleaning work area, machines, and tools; and holding materials or tools for other workers. Examine and test machinery, equipment, components, and parts for defects, and to ensure proper functioning. Adjust, connect, or disconnect wiring, piping, tubing, and other parts, using hand tools or power tools. Install or replace machinery, equipment, and new or replacement parts and instruments, using hand tools or power tools. Apply protective materials to equipment, components, and parts in order to prevent defects and corrosion. Disassemble broken or defective equipment in order to facilitate repair; reassemble equipment when repairs are complete. Assemble and maintain physical structures, using hand tools or power tools. Provide assistance to more skilled workers involved in the adjustment, maintenance, part replacement, and repair of tools, equipment, and machines. Does other related duty as assigned from time to time. |

Qualification Requirements: | Proven maintenance experience. High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Skilled in the use of hand and power tools. Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts. Ability to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches. Experience performing routine maintenance. Strong organizational and follow up skills. Eye for detail. Professional presentation and attitude. Ability to maintain focus while working individually. Strong time management skills. Must be able to work outside. Must be able to work on holidays and weekends on short notice. |

Comments: | • The place of employment will be at Susupe, Saipan. Applicants will be reasonably expected to reside within the area of the place of employment to perform the services or labor as advertised. • Overtime hours will be applicable at 1.5 x the rate indicated on the JVA • The employer will make all deductions from the worker’s paycheck as required by law, as well as other deductions for selected employee benefits, including health, vision, dental, life insurance and 401 (K) subject to each company’s conditions • The employer guarantees under paragraph (f)(1) to offer each employee employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period of employment specified in the work contract, beginning with the first workday after the arrival of the employee at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ending on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any.
