Job Duties: | Splice wires with knives or cutting pliers, and solder connections to fixtures and equipment. Diagnose or repair problems with electronic equipment, such as sound, navigation, communication, and security equipment, in motor vehicles. Inspect and test electrical or electronic systems to locate and diagnose malfunctions, using visual inspections and testing instruments such as oscilloscopes and voltmeters. Install equipment and accessories such as stereos, navigation equipment, communication equipment, and security systems. Estimate costs of repairs based on parts and labor charges. Confer with customers to determine the nature of malfunctions. Run new speaker and electrical cables. Cut openings and drill holes for fixtures and equipment, using electric drills and routers. Replace and clean electrical or electronic components. Remove seats, carpeting, and interiors of doors and add sound-absorbing material in empty spaces, re-installing interior parts. |

Comments: | The place of employment will be at Kannat Tabla, Saipan. Applicants will be reasonably expected to reside within the area of the place of employment to perform the services or labor as advertised. Overtime hours will be applicable at 1.5 x the rate indicated on the JVA The employer will make all deductions from the worker’s paycheck as required by law, as well as other deductions for selected employee benefits, including health, vision, dental, life insurance and 401 (K) subject to each company’s conditions. The employer guarantees under paragraph (f)(1) to offer each employee employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period of employment specified in the work contract, beginning with the first workday after the arrival of the employee at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ending on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. If a worker voluntarily abandons employment or is terminated for cause, the employer is not required to guarantee three-fourths of the work contract, as provided under Subsection 655.423(f). The employer will provide transportation and subsistence to the employee while traveling from the employee’s origin to the place of employment as well as the return transportation and subsistence at the conclusion of the job opportunity, as required by 20 CFR 655.423(j)(1). Daily transportation to and from the place(s) of employment will be provided by the employer if applicable. The employer will provide without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the duties assigned, in accordance with 20 CFR 655.423(k) Board, lodging, or other facilities the employer will offer to works or tends to assist workers in securing if applicable On the job training will be provided to the worker if applicable.
