Job Title: Tour Coordinator
Job Duties: Plan tour itineraries, applying knowledge of travel routes and destination sites. Resolve any problems with itineraries, service, or accommodations. Sell travel packages. Arrange for tour or expedition details such as accommodations, transportation, equipment, and the availability of medical personnel. Evaluate services received on the tour, and report findings to tour organizers. Give advice on sightseeing and shopping.
High School Diploma Required? Yes
Qualification Requirements: Associate's Degree in Secretarial or Tourism. One (1) year experience as a Tour Coordinator. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems. Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology. Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. Talking to others to convey information effectively. Persuading others to change their minds or behavior. Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one. Managing one's own time and the time of others. Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.

Comments: The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing on September 30, 2020 to September 29, 2021 THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
