Job Title: | STOCK-WAREHOUSE CLERK |
Job Duties: | Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using computer. Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yard. Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, investigate discrepancies or adjust errors. Store items in the warehouse: a.) Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas. b.) Mark stock items. c.) Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors. d.) Dispose of damaged or defective items or return them to vendors. Responsible for cleaning and maintenance: a.) Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations. b.) Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities. Drive trucks in order to pick up emergency stock needs and deliver supplies to designated locations. Prepare and maintain records: a.) Record inventories, shortages, shipments, and goods used or issued. b.) Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment. Handles issuance and distribution of inventories: a.) Handles material, products, parts and supplies to coworkers, based on information from incoming requisitions. b.) Determine sequence and release of stocks according to stocks availability. c.) Recommend disposal of excess, defective and/or obsolete stock. Advise coworkers on the appropriateness of parts, supplies, or materials requested. Compile, review and maintain data from delivery receipts, requisitions and other documents to assess supply needs. Confer with purchasing personnel and vendors regarding stock procurement and availability. May perform other related duties as assigned. |

Qualification Requirements: | Must have 12 months(1 Year)experience as a Stock-Warehouse Clerk. Must at least be a high school graduate or its equivalent. Can work on flexible work days and work hours specifically on an early morning shift. While performing the duties of the job, employee may be required to stand and walk for extended period of time especially during stocking or replenishing of stocks to each department. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. most of the time. |

Comments: | OVERTIME WAGE RATE TO BE PAID IS FROM A RANGE OF $ 11.90 TO $ 16.92 PER HOUR. WORKER WILL BE PROVIDED AN OVERTIME RATE FOR HOURS WORKED IN EXCESS OF 40 HOURS IN A WORK-WEEK EQUIVALENT TO X1.5 OF THE BASIC WAGE RATE OFFERED(NOTE: OVERTIME RATE ITEM FIELD IN JVA CANNOT REFLECT "X1.5"AS QUOTED). ANTICIPATED HOURS OF WORK IS A MAXIMUM OF 7.5 HOURS PER DAY AND 37.50 HOURS PER WEEK FROM MONDAY TO FRIDAY. WORK SCHEDULE IS FROM 8:00 AM TO 3:30 PM FROM MONDAY TO FRIDAY. WORKERS ARE OFFERED EMPLOYMENT FOR A TOTAL NUMBER OF WORK HOURS EQUAL TO AT LEAST THREE FOURTHS OF THE WORKDAYS OF THE TOTAL PERIOD THAT BEGINS WITH THE FIRST WORKDAY OF EMPLOYMENT UP TO THE EXPIRATION OF THE WORK CONTRACT.
