Job Duties: | Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards. Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas. Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors. Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or on computer. Mark stock items, using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment. Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors. Issue or distribute materials, products, parts, and supplies to customers or coworkers, based on information from incoming requisitions. Dispose of damaged or defective items, or return them to vendors. Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Recommend disposal of excess, defective, or obsolete stock. Keep records on the use or damage of stock or stock-handling equipment. Prepare and maintain records and reports of inventories, price lists, shortages, shipments, expenditures, and goods used or issued. Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location, based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities. Compile, review, and maintain data from contracts, purchase orders, requisitions, and other documents to assess supply needs. Determine the sequence and release of back orders according to stock availability. Confer with engineering and purchasing personnel and vendors regarding stock procurement and availability. Purchase new or additional stock, or prepare documents that provide for such purchases. Drives truck to pick-up incoming stocks. |

Qualification Requirements: | Must obtain certification on forklift operation. Must obtain post-employment offer of food handler's certification from the CNMI Department of Public Health. Must be able to lift, carry and deliver heavy products of up to 50 pounds. Must have a basic math skills to weigh , measure, and convert using Metric conversion. Must maintain proper personal hygiene. Must possess a valid CNMI issued Driver's License. Must agree to post-offer pre-employment drug screening and random drug testing equally applied to both US and CW-1 workers. Must not have any driving violations within the last three (3) years and must agree to provide a post-offer pre-employment police clearance record which is equally applied to both US and CW-1 workers. |

Comments: | Herman's Modern Bakery Inc (HMBI) will conduct recruitment by posting the job opportunity online at CNMI Dept of Labor’s job listing, and where work will be performed (i.e. HMBI-Bulletin Board @ Snackbar area). HMBI will attract applicants at job fairs conducted during the recruitment period, if any, by CNMI Dept of Labor, and any other organizations in the CNMI and by spreading the word by contacting via email or US mail former US workers who separated from the company within the last 270 calendar days and who qualifies for the position, and by contacting trade schools in the CNMI.
