Job Title: Purchasing Supervisor
Job Duties:  Supervise and implement all material plans and ensure compliance to all purchasing policies and manage all communication for all purchasing activities.  Assist to buy all supplies and equipments.  Evaluate all quotes and coordinate with vendors to provide required component bids and analyze all vendor performance to improve all purchasing process.  Develop and maintain professional relationships with all suppliers.  Prepare reports for all purchasing departments  Provide support to all managers to plan and execute all purchasing processes and provide an effective interface with all departments.  Supervise and Administer everyday activities of all purchasing staff and provide training to staff to ensure compliance.  Monitor all purchasing activities and design various cost effective methods according to demands.  Evaluate and maintain all reports for inventory.  Re-order and coordinate with internal departments for same and maintain an efficient purchase order system.  Assist Purchasing Manager to Design and implement various purchasing strategies and procurement policies and participate in all supplier reduction programs in coordination with global supply chain team and determine appropriate programs for all purchase requirements and assist to reduce supply chain cost.  Supervise all supplier contracts and assist to administer best pricing strategies for all purchase materials and suppliers.  Assist in analyzing all new issue materials and recommend strategies to improve quality and manage inventory levels for all products.  Assist Purchasing Manager to oversee all programs and assist to purchase all materials and non-capital equipments  Supervise all audit activities and evaluate all purchase orders and payment perform and assist to eliminate any discrepancy in same and prepare all contract terms and conditions.  May perform other related task as assigned and determined by the General Manager.
High School Diploma Required? Yes
Qualification Requirements: High School Diploma. At least two years of supervisory experienced in the related field and speaking additional language such as Mandarin/Cantonese is an advantage. • Ability to maintain highly confidential nature of purchasing works and possess professionalism with good manners and right conduct. • Computer Literate. • Understands the act of procuring the necessary goods and services for a company. • Finding suppliers that offer quality products and deliver as promised is imperative in vendor selection. • Effective supervisors establish and maintain solid professional relationships with vendors while continually negotiating to obtain favorable pricing and discount structures. • Perform basic math, including calculations using fractions, percents, and/or ratios. • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. • Ability to write correspondence with regards to purchasing. • Knowledge of purchasing supplies for hotel, restaurant and golf course equipment and construction materials and other materials needed base from the current operation of the business. • Prior supervisory experience and a proven track record in developing high performance teams in involving Buyer/Planner direct reports required. • Knowledge of computer applications related to purchasing and inventory systems. • Strong negotiation skills. • Ability to work under pressure and manage and meet deadlines. • Willing to work in flexible shifts, days, evening and meet deadlines.
