Job Duties:	Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Repair and replace wiring, equipment or fixtures in existing apartment/condominium units and common areas using side cutter, pliers, long nose, tester, soldering iron and any other required hand tools and power tools to complete the job. 2. Perform routine maintenance on building or apartment unit’s electrical power connections such as wires and sockets. 3. Inspect electrical systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with safety building codes. 4. Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes. 5. Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components. 6. Test electrical systems or continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment or fixtures, using testing devices such as voltmeters, to ensure compatibility and safety. 7. Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, or components, using hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem. 8. Place conduit, pipes or tubing inside designated partitions, walls or other concealed areas, and pull insulated wires or cables through conduit to complete circuits between boxes. 9. Assemble, install, test, or maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, or fixtures using hand or power tools. 10. Work from ladders, scaffolds roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment or fixtures. 11. Fasten small metal or plastic boxes to walls to house electrical switches or outlets. 12. Install or connect power cables to equipment such as water pump or motors. 13. Provide assistance by operating emergency lights or generators in apartment buildings. 14. Communicate and listen to tenants regarding their complaints about electrical problems in their units. 15. Provide preliminary sketches or cost estimates for materials or labor. 16. Maintain report logbook on repairs performed and complaints received. 17. Read and comply with building safety codes. 18. Assist power provider representative or government officers during building inspection. 19. Report to company’s Operation Manager regarding daily accomplishments and pending projects. 20. Purchase materials, if needed.
High School Diploma Required?	Yes
Qualification Requirements:	High School Graduate or equivalent required; Six (6) months training in trade/vocational school with course on electrical installation and maintenance or building electrical wiring. At least 12 months experience as building electrician. Knowledgeable on use of electrical tools such as voltmeters, testers, hand and power tools. Knowledgeable on parts to be used on repair or replacement of damaged wiring. Can read blue print or building plans. Can draw sketches. Can read and understand and comply with building safety codes and manuals. Have clear vision. Must be physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs and above. Can add, divide, subtract and multiply. Can sit, squat, stand for long periods of time. Can work indoors or outdoors in open or confined spaces during extreme heat exposed to dirt, dust, noise, insects, cleaning solutions in all kinds of weather at all times day or night. Ability to work , exposed to high voltage electrical power lines. Possess CNMI driver’s license.

Required tools, supplies and Equipment to be provided:	EMPLOYER PROVIDED TOOLS & EQUIPMENT: Workers will be provided without charge or deposit to employee, all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the job. THREE FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the 1st workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract. BOARD LODGING OR OTHER FACILITIES: The Employer will assist the worker to find a suitable place to live. Employer will comply with US Department of Labor ETA 20CFR Part 655
