Job Duties: INVESTIGATE AND RESOLVE COMPLAINTS REGARDING FOOD QUALITY, SERVICE, OR ACCOMMODATIONS. MONITOR FOOD PREPARATION METHODS, PORTION SIZES, AND GARNISHING AND PRESENTATION OF FOOD TO ENSURE THAT FOOD IS PREPARED AND PRESENTED IN AN ACCEPTABLE MANNER. MONITOR COMPLIANCE WITH HEALTH AND FIRE REGULATIONS REGARDING FOOD PREPARATION AND SERVING, AND BUILDING MAINTENANCE IN LODGING AND DINING FACILITIES. COUNT MONEY AND MAKE BANK DEPOSITS. ESTABLISH STANDARDS FOR PERSONNEL PERFORMANCE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. PERFORM SOME FOOD PREPARATION OR SERVICE TASKS, CLEARING TABLES, AND SERVING FOOD AND DRINKS WHEN NECESSARY. ENSURES THAT DINING ROOM IS ADEQUATELY STOCKED WITH NECESSARY SUPPLIES. SUBMITS MONTHLY REPORT AND SALES ANALYSIS TO F&B DIRECTOR. OVERSEE THE COORDINATION AND EXECUTION OF ALL EVENTS WITH CULINARY, STEWARDING, AND BAR MANAGER. ANALYZE AND PREPARE BANQUET BUDGET, SETTING TARGETS, FOR UPCOMING MONTHS/YEAR. SCHEDULE USE OF FACILITIES OR CATERING SERVICES FOR EVENTS SUCH AS BANQUETS OR RECEPTIONS, AND NEGOTIATE DETAILS OF ARRANGEMENTS WITH CLIENTS. ABILITY TO DEVELOP IDEAS FOR SPECIAL EVENTS AND HOLIDAY FUNCTIONS INCLUDING STAFF COVERAGE AND CREATIVE DÉCOR FOR BANQUET FUNCTION SPACE. ORGANIZE AND DIRECT WORKER TRAINING PROGRAMS, RESOLVE PERSONNEL PROBLEMS, HIRE NEW STAFF, AND EVALUATE EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE IN DINING AND LODGING FACILITIES. REVIEW WORK PROCEDURES AND OPERATIONAL PROBLEMS TO DETERMINE WAYS TO IMPROVE SERVICE, PERFORMANCE, OR SAFETY. COMPLY WITH SAFETY AND FOOD HYGIENE OF LOCAL AND FEDERAL REGULATIONS. ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS MAY INCLUDE THE FACILITATION OF PAYROLL, REPORTS, FORECASTS, POINT OF SALE PROCEDURES, INVENTORY AND BUDGET FOR FOOD AND BEVERAGE FUNCTIONS PERFORMING DAILY WALK-THROUGHS IN BANQUET DEPARTMENT AND ALL FUNCTION SPACE AND STOREROOMS TO ENSURE FULL COMPLIANCE WITH DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH REGULATIONS AND CORPORATE STANDARDS. PLAN, DIRECT OR COORDINATE ACTIVITIES OF AN ORGANIZATION OR DEPARTMENT THAT SERVES FOOD AND BEVERAGE. ORGANIZE AND CONDUCT PRE-SHIFT AND DEPARTMENTAL MEETINGS TO COMMUNICATE PERTINENT INFORMATION TO THE STAFF SUCH AS HOUSE COUNT AND MENU CHANGES. SCHEDULE AND DIRECT STAFF IN THEIR WORK ASSIGNMENTS. CONSISTENT COMMUNICATION WITH LEADERSHIP REGARDING NEEDED IMPROVEMENTS IN PRODUCT, PHYSICAL RESTAURANT, AND TRAINING. KEEPS ACCURATE LOG OF OPERATIONS ON A DAILY BASIS. SUBMITS MONTHLY REPORT AND SALES ANALYSIS TO F&B DIRECTOR ENSURES THAT DINING ROOM IS ADEQUATELY STOCKED WITH NECESSARY SUPPLIES. EXCELLENT WRITTEN AND ORAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS ARE NECESSARY. MUST BE ABLE TO SUCCESSFULLY COORDINATE STAFF AND RESOURCES IN HIGH VOLUME, TIME SENSITIVE ENVIRONMENT. PERFORM ANY OTHER JOB RELATED DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.

Comments: This a temporary, full-time position of at least 35 hours per work week with employment period beginning September 18, 2020 to September 17, 2021. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE for Employment offered is for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period of employment specified in the work contract, beginning with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ending on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. Frequency of pay: Bi-weekly, subjected to mandatory payroll tax deduction required by law (20 CFR 655.423(h). Transportation and subsistence will be provided to the worker from the place of origin to the place of employment. Upon conclusion of the job opportunity, employer will provide the return transportation and substance to the place of origin or place of recruitment (20 CFR 655.423(k)(1)).
