| Job Duties: | TRAINING • Conduct orientation for new and ongoing providers and community members regarding CCDF and CCLP requirements. • Coordinate with CCDF, CCLP and partner agencies in making training available to providers and the community. • Coordinate a weeklong training symposium on Tinian and Rota to give provider access to preservice health and safety training topics (up to twice a year, as needed). • Develop and facilitate training around best practices (e.g. health and safety standards, child development, developmentally appropriate practices for children of all ages) during the Tinian and Rota week-long symposium, and as needed or requested on Saipan. • Prepare and provide pre-registration and confirmation of participants to training and workshops. • Coordinate with CCLP to verify registration qualification of participants. • Track participants’ professional development hours. • Coordinate with the community to secure training and/ or workshop venues. TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE • Provide coaching and one-on-one support throughout the process of acquiring a business license, CCDF certification, and all other initial certification/ licensure requirements. • Provide ongoing follow-up support through phone, email, and quarterly face-to-face onsite visits to support providers’ efforts to meet requirements. • Provide coaching around health and safety standards and developmentally appropriate practices for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school aged children. • Provide technical assistance support on-site once a quarter to providers on Tinian and Rota, and as needed or requested on Saipan. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES • Create networks in Tinian, Rota and Saipan to support the providers in those islands. • Connect families with community-based resources and services (e.g. NAP, WIC, Early Intervention, Division of Youth Services, etc.) • Distribute information about the availability of training, technical assistance, and support services. • Create written procedures and protocols for detailing steps that a CCDF license or license-exempt provider must take in meeting CCDF requirements. • Coordinate with providers on schedules for their training and technical assistance support. • Prepare written, monthly, quarterly and annual reports as needed and requested. • Work with CCDF Administrative Specialist with data-related information • Collate providers’ professional development hours at the end of each month. • And other related administrative work. |

| Qualification Requirements: | REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • Minimum high school diploma. • Valid and current CNMI business license. • Able to manage confidential information appropriately. • Knowledge and competence in activity planning/ coordinating. • Ability to communicate with adults in a positive and proactive manner. • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a team member. • Ability maintain effective working relationships with people of various cultural, social, and educational backgrounds. • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends. • Able to travel to Tinian and Rota at least once each quarter for technical assistance and up to twice a year for training symposiums. • Written and oral proficiency in English. • Have reliable transportation • Preference given to fluent speakers and writers of Chamorro and/ or Carolinian. |
