| Job Duties: | Steer and operate vessels, using radios, depth finders, radars, lights, buoys, or lighthouses.See more occupations related to this task. Overall commander of the vessel sailing between Saipan Charlie dock to Tinian harbor, assuming the ultimate responsibility for the safety of the vessel which included passengers, vehicle and for the safety of the crew. 2. In charge of the ships business, operations, administration and as well the training of the ships staff according to the manners, leading his staff to comply with the rules of discipline, to ensure safe navigation and operations. 3. Give attention to keep the ship in a seaworthy condition; strictly comply with the regulations relating to the carriage of passengers and in no case allow any passengers on board in excess of the number permitted; 4. Strictly carry out the requirements for safe navigation and operations and have the ship's machinery and equipment operated always according to their respective technical data. 5. Earnestly examine and inspect the embarkation and disembarkation of the cars. 6. In the event of accident, engine-breakdown or damage, exercise care and prudence in dealing with all the affairs concerned. 7. Take a sanitary inspection at regular intervals 8. Give effective guidance to his staff in an emergency event. |

| Comments: | (1) EMPLOYMENT DURATION & LOCATION This job opportunity is for a temporary, full-time position on shift basis. Work will be performed in the roll on and roll off passenger ship Sand Diamond between Tinian and Saipan without travel requirements. (2) WORK HOURS Employees hired under this announcement will work on full time employment forty (40) hours per week. Work hours start from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM Monday to Sunday. (3)THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual fist date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. (4) TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker’s transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or w here the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except w here the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or w here the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. (5) ON-THE-JOB-TRAINING AVAILABLE Workers will be provided with on-the-job training to perform the duties assigned.
