Job Title: Nurse Practitioner
Job Duties: Under the supervision of the Chief Medical Officer, the employee in this highly responsible non-classified, technical position is responsible for providing general medical care and treatment to assigned patients of Kagman Community Health Center, Inc. Work Performance and Annual Evaluation are reviewed by the Chief Medical Officer and Chief Executive Officer. Is able to maintain confidentiality of patient information. Performs physical examinations and evaluates diagnostics tests to identify and assess patient’s clinical problems and health care needs. Records physical findings and formulates plan and prognosis, based on patient’s condition. Discusses case with Physicians (medical services) and other health professionals to assure observation of specified practice. Submits health care plan and goals of individual patients for periodic review and evaluation by Physician (medical services). Recommends drugs or other forms of treatment, such as physical therapy, inhalation therapy, or related therapeutic procedures. May refer patients to Physician (medical services) for consultation to specialized health resources for treatment. May determine when the patient has recovered. Performs exams, counseling, and guidance. Participates in the functions of Kagman Community Health Center, Inc. including committees, and community and clinic-based outpatient services. Performs other related duties as assigned.
High School Diploma Required? Yes
Qualification Requirements: Must have certification or degree in a nationally recognized nursing program (RN) and Nurse Practitioner. Plus 3-year experience in actual application in clinics. Must have a valid license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner. Ability to work effectively with coworkers and clients. Must have good oral and written communication skills. Comprehensive of basic medical information. Computer literacy is necessary.

Comments: Conditional Requirements: This position is a full-time employment status. The regular work schedule will be Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm for a total of 40 hours per week. This work schedule, however, is subject to change with or without notice based on the Employer’s business requirement and/or by the demands of the employee’s job; Every effort will be made to adhere to the employee’s regular work schedule. This position is “EXEMPT”. Other: This position is paid on a bi-weekly basis (two [2] week period). Benefits include eight (8) paid holidays, paid time off (PTO) and health and dental insurance. KCHC adheres to all applicable deductions such as CNMI tax, Federal Tax, Medicare and Social Security. Once working at the site, clinicians may be eligible to apply for loan repayment assistance.
