Job Title: Welcome Services Agent
Job Duties: •Greeting, welcoming, directing and fare welling guests and visitors to company in accordance with established service standards•Welcome guests at any of the hotel entrances, offering the greeting appropriate to the time of day taking note of VIP and repeat guests•Open hotel doors for guests/visitors•Assist arriving and departing guests by opening and closing vehicle and taxi doors•Assist arriving and departing guests with their luggage•Give instructions and directions to taxi drivers as per guest request•Monitor and direct personal and commercial vehicle traffic on property, including guest vehicles, taxi cabs, limousines•Ensure and maintain safety, security and cleanliness of parking areas•Maintain a smooth and efficient flow of traffic•Retrieving, collecting, tagging and delivering guest luggage ensuring luggage is stacked or stored appropriately and not damaged during transit. This includes transporting luggage in a timely and discreet manner without disrupting guests, hotel operations or ambience•Maintaining current product knowledge of events and facilities of company including gaming, food & beverage and entertainment to ensure guests receive accurate and timely information and advice.•Welcome Services Agent is also required to maintain an awareness of events, activities, venues and places of interest to which they can refer guests•Communicating and logging guest requests and information to fellow team members and departments to proactively service guests, minimize confusion and ensure guest’s requirements are satisfied•Assisting the Doorperson in maintaining and ensuring the hotel driveway is operated in an orderly and safe manner•Perform other duties within the Front Office area as requested to meet the operational requirements of the Hotel•To provide courteous service to guests and respond promptly and tactfully to guest complaints, request and inquiries •To ensure that the bell carts are kept clean, shiny and in an orderly faction at all times•Adhere to all Company policies and procedures•Report accidents, injuries, unsafe work conditions and/or security issues to supervisors•Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualification Requirements: •Previous relevant experience is an advantage, preferably with a 5 star hotel•High School graduate or above•Physical mobility and stamina•Responsible, self-motivated and independent•Outgoing and approachable; good communication and interpersonal skills•Able to work on flexible shifts including overnight, weekends and holidays on rotation basis•Fluent in English•Ability to speak Cantonese or Mandarin is an advantage•Ability to multi-task

Comments: (1) EMPLOYMENT BASIS & DURATION This job opportunity is for a temporary, full-time position. (2) WORK HOURS Employees hired under this announcement will work on full time employment forty (40) hours per week. There are three rotating shifts per day: (A) Day Shift will be from 6:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. (B) Swing Shift will be from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. (C) Night Shift will be from 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. Employee hired under this announcement will be rotated through each of the three shifts. (3)THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual fist date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. (4) INBOUND/OUTBOUND TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE The Employer shall pay for all inbound transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract, or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. (5)FIRST WORK WEEK REIMBURSEMENT Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees). (6) PROVISION OF TOOLS, SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Furthermore, the employer will supply workers at no charge all safety clothing and equipment and will require all workers to wear such clothing and equipment always during work. (7) HOUSING The employer will provide optional housing at $25.00 per week, during the employment. (8)The employees will be provided one (1) duty meal per day at no expense for the duration of the employment.
