Job Title: Photographer
Job Duties: Photograph people, landscapes, merchandise, or other subjects, using digital, film or video cameras and equipment, by request from company's clients. May do underwater and/or aerial photography/video shooting if requested by clients. Develop negatives or use computer software to produce finished images and prints. Use traditional or digital cameras, along with a variety of equipment, such as tripods, filters, and flash attachments. Determine desired images and picture composition, selecting and adjusting subjects, equipment, and lighting to achieve desired effects. Adjust apertures, shutter speeds, and camera focus according to a combination of factors, such as lighting, field depth, subject motion, film type, and film speed. Create artificial light, using flashes and/or reflectors. Manipulate and enhance scanned or digital images to create desired effects, using computers and specialized software. Transfer photographs to computers for editing, archiving, and electronic transmission. Determine project goals, locations, and equipment needs by studying assignments and consulting with clients. Review sets of photographs to select the best work. Perform general office duties, such as scheduling appointments, keeping books, and ordering supplies. Estimate material and labor costs for client's needs, and prepare quotations and/or contracts accordingly. Test equipment prior to use to ensure that it is in good working order. Set up, mount, or install photographic equipment and cameras. Select and assemble equipment and required background properties, according to subjects, materials, and conditions. Take pictures of individuals, families, and small groups, either in studio or on location. Direct activities of workers setting up photographic equipment. Perform maintenance tasks necessary to keep equipment working properly. Produce computer-readable, digital images from film, using flatbed scanners and photofinishing programs. Develop and print exposed film, using chemicals, touch-up tools, and developing and printing equipment. Enhance, retouch, and resize photographs and negatives, using airbrushing and other techniques. Load and unload film, memory cards or other storage devices from cameras. Employ a variety of specialized photographic materials and techniques, including infrared and ultraviolet films, macro photography, photogrammetry and sensitometry. Write photograph captions, edit or enhance pictures or video, create albums online or on computer readable formats, print pictures. Accommodate tourist customers from Japan which dominates the nationality of company's customers. Do all other related duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements: Minimum 2 years of work experience as a photographer. Preferably knows how to speak Japanese and/or Chinese languages for better communication with clients. Must possess scuba diving instructor license issued by either PADI, NAUI or CMAS, to handle underwater photo/video shooting upon request by clients. Experience with drone (aerial) piloting to accommodate photo/video shooting up on request by clients. Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Final Cut Pro, or other editing software.

Fringe Benefits: Compensations: Workers’ Compensation provided. Three-Fourths Guarantee: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. Transportation and Subsistence Provided: If the worker is traveling from other countries and completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker’s transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
