| Job Duties: | CUT, TRIM, OR PREPARE CONSUMER-SIZED PORTIONS OF MEAT FOR USE OR SALE IN RETAIL ESTABLISHMENTS. WRAP, WEIGH, LABEL AND PRICE CUTS OF MEAT. PREPARE AND PLACE MEAT CUTS AND PRODUCTS IN DISPLAY COUNTER, SO THEY WILL APPEAR ATTRACTIVE AND CATCH THE SHOPPER'S EYE. PREPARE SPECIAL CUTS OF MEAT ORDERED BY CUSTOMERS. CUT, TRIM, BONE, TIE, AND GRIND MEATS, SUCH AS BEEF, PORK, POULTRY, AND FISH, TO PREPARE MEAT IN COOKING FORM. RECEIVE, INSPECT, AND STORE MEAT UPON DELIVERY, TO ENSURE MEAT QUALITY. SHAPE, LACE, AND TIE ROASTS, USING BONING KNIFE, SKEWER, AND TWINE. ESTIMATE REQUIREMENTS AND ORDER OR REQUISITION MEAT SUPPLIES TO MAINTAIN INVENTORIES. RECORD QUANTITY OF MEAT RECEIVED AND ISSUED TO COOKS AND/OR KEEP RECORDS OF MEAT SALES. NEGOTIATE WITH REPRESENTATIVES FROM SUPPLY COMPANIES TO DETERMINE ORDER DETAILS. CUTS, TRIMS, BONES, TIES & GRINDS MEATS USING BUTCHERS CUTLERY AND POWERED EQUIPMENT SUCH AS ELECTRIC GRINDER & BAND SAW TO PORTION AND PREPARE MEAT IN COOKING FORM FOR RETAIL & WHOLESALE SALES. RECEIVE, INSPECT & STORE MEAT UPON DELIVERY TO ENSURE MEAT QUALITY. RECORD QUANTITY OF MEAT RECEIVED AND ISSUED AND/OR KEEP RECORDS OF MEAT SALES. PREPARE & PLACE MEAT CUTS AND PRODUCTS IN DISPLAY COUNTER SO THEY WILL APPEAR ATTRACTIVE AND CATCH THE SHOPPERS EYE. PREPARE SPECIAL CUTS OF MEAT ORDERED BY CUSTOMERS. | Comments: | The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing on December 9, 2019 to September 30, 2020. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Worker will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extension, if any. Per 20 CFR 655.423 (j)(I), Employer will provide transportation and subsistence to the worker while traveling from the worker's origin to the place of employment as will the return transportation and subsistence at the conclusion of the job opportunity.
