Job Title: Graphic Designer
Job Duties: Design or create graphics to meet specific commercial or promotional needs, such as packaging, displays, or logos. May use a variety of mediums to achieve artistic or decorative effects. Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and select style and size of type. Confer with clients to discuss and determine layout design. Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts, based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts. Develop graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites. Use computer software to generate new images. Review final layouts and suggest improvements as needed. Maintain archive of images, photos, or previous work products. Prepare illustrations or rough sketches of material, discussing them with clients, and making necessary edits. Draw and print illustrations using appropriate computer software to create layouts for clients. Key information into computer equipment to create layouts for client or supervisor. Research new software or design concepts. Study illustrations and photographs to plan presentation of materials, products, or services. Mark up, paste, and assemble final layouts to prepare layouts for production. Do other related duties as assigned.
High School Diploma Required? Yes
Qualification Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts. Minimum 2 years of work experience as a graphic designer or artist. Must have sufficient experience and ability with Adobe software, Corel Draw software, Microsoft Office programs (i.e. MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint), internet and e-mail proficiency and other related computer software. Preferable to have basic knowledge of a printing company operations. Flexibility with working hours preferred. Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure required.

Fringe Benefits: Compensations: Workers’ Compensation provided. Three-Fourths Guarantee: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. Transportation and Subsistence Provided: If the worker is traveling from other countries and completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker’s transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
