Job Title: Store Manager
Job Duties: Direct and supervise employees engaged in sales, inventory-taking, reconciling cash receipts, or in performing services to customers. Provide customer service by greeting and assisting customers and responding to customer inquiries and complaints. Examine merchandise to ensure that it is correctly priced and displayed and that it functions as advertised. Monitor sales activities to ensure that customers receive satisfactory service and quality goods. Instruct staff on how to handle difficult and complicated sales. Assign employees to specific duties. Keep records of purchases, sales and requisitions. Plan and prepare work schedules and keep records of employees’ work schedules and time cards. Review inventory and sales records to prepare reports for management and budget department. Establish operational policies and develop marketing plans or strategies.

Qualification Requirements: High School/GED graduate plus 12 months work experience as a Store Manager. Proficient in MS Office application such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS Publisher and DDMS Software. Knowledge of office and school products. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction . Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods and coordination of people and resources. Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration sales techniques and sales control systems. Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition and grammar. Knowledge of principles and procedure for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems. Must have the ability to talk to others to convey information effectively. Must have the ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions and approaches to problems.

Comments: The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing on October 1, 2019 to September 30, 2020 THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
