Job Duties: Always comply with OSHA safety standard, wear safety protection gear during the work; Follow instruction, read blueprints, work orders, or production schedules to determine product or job instructions or specifications; Determine required equipment and welding methods; Prepare all material surface to be welded, ensuring that there is no loose or thick scale, slag, rust, moisture, grease, or any other foreign matter; Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers; Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions; Weld or join metal components or to fill holes, or seams of fabricated metal products; Chip or grind off excess weld, slag, or spatter, using hand scrapers or power chippers, portable grinder, or air cutting equipment; Other related welding duties may assign by the management;

Qualification Requirements: 24 months experience required.Must well knowledge how to use hand-welding, flame-cutting, hand soldering, or brazing equipment to weld or join metal components or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products.

Comments: Pacific Cooperation Ltd. is looking to fill ONE (1) WELDER. Work will be performed in Saipan. The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing on October 1, 2019 to September 30, 2020. TERMS & CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: Workers will be paid no less than $18.02 per hour. Overtime will be paid at a rate of 1.5 times base hourly rate. Hourly work schedule is from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Workers will be paid biweekly by check. The employer will make all the payroll deductions from the worker's paycheck required by federal and local law. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. DAILY TRANSPORTATION: The employer will provide daily transportation to and from worksite. EMPLOYER PROVIDED TOOLS & EQUIPMENT: Workers will be provided, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the duties assigned. BOARD, LODGING OR OTHER FACILITIES: the employer will assist workers in securing board, lodging, or other facilities. ON-THE-JOB-TRAINING: The employer will not provide on-the-job training.
