Job Title: Tour Coordinator [SOC Code: 39-7011 Tour Guides and Escorts]
Job Duties: Organize and conduct company’s boat tours and optional activities for tourist customers, individuals or groups, operated utilizing 3 operational water vessels. Check daily schedule of tours and preparing for that tour at least 30 minutes prior to the departure time. Make sure all equipment is on the boat, assembled and in good working order. Check all supplies needed for the tour. Make sure the boat is clean and all safety standards are being met. Provide a quick orientation of the vessel, safety demonstration, explaining what the customer will expect on the tour, providing a lesson on how to use equipment during the tour, and a brief explanation and general information about fishing and Saipan wildlife to the customers on board, as boat departs, which shall be done in Japanese for Japanese customers. Upon completion of each tour, make sure the transportation arrives to the final destination in timely manner, and that the customer departs the boat and get transferred to their land transportation safely. Do a quick inventory and report any additional items needed to management for purchase for the next tour. Do other related duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements: Minimum 2 years of work experience as Tour Coordinator in Saipan. Preferable to have basic knowledge of boat charter operation. Must be able to speak, read and write Japanese language, since large part of company's customers and vendors that this position needs to handle consists of Japan nationals.

Fringe Benefits: Compensations: Workers’ Compensation and Gas Allowance of $60 to $80 per month (as needed) provided. Three-Fourths Guarantee: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. Transportation and Subsistence Provided: If the worker is traveling from other countries and completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker’s transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
