| Job Duties: | Perform regular maintenance, repair, testing alignment, alterations, and adjustment on all Cable TV (“CATV’) headend electronic equipment by using various telecommunication test equipment and tools. Optimize nodes for Arris CHP Max Headend Optic Platform Transmitter/Receiver and Cisco system. Assemble, align, repair, and maintain satellite dishes and configure satellite receivers/decoders parameters, and install updated software. Perform RF signal alignment on analog and digital CATV systems at the headend on a regular basis. Perform regular proof of performance and other headend testing, documentation, and reporting in accordance with FCC rules. Monitor and analyze network downstream and upstream carriers on a regular basis and perform ingress mitigation, when necessary. Perform all tasks related to the hybrid cable and fiber coaxial system’s operation and maintenance. Repair faulty equipment such as defective and damaged optical transmitter/receiver, AC and DC power supply, RF amplifiers, encoder, satellite decoder, modulator, demodulator, and other associated equipment. Utilize Arris CHP MAX Headend Optics Platform Receiver hardware, Arris CHP MAX Headend Optics Platform Transmitter hardware, Cisco Prisma Optics Platform Receiver, Cisco Prisma Optics Platform Transmitter, and Cisco Local Craft Interface software in performing job duties. Required to travel once per month to either MSA of Rota, NMI or MSA of Tinian, NMI for three days or less to perform work as a CATV Headend/Bench Technician on employer’s equipment. |

| Comments: | The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing on October 1, 2019 to September 30, 2020. The job opportunity requires that the worker travel, in an employer provided vehicle, to employer's equipment in all villages in the MSA of Saipan and to travel, at employer’s expense, once per month to either MSA of Rota, NMI or MSA of Tinian, NMI for three days or less to perform work as a CATV Headend/Bench Technician on employer’s equipment. Workdays will be Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the workers at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the workers complete 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the workers’ transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the workers are dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the workers’ reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the workers originally departed to work, except where the workers will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a workers’ voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
