| Job Duties: | Direct and supervise employees engaged in sales, inventory-taking, reconciling cash receipts, or in performing services to customers. Provide customer service by greeting and assisting customers and responding to customer inquiries and complaints. Examine merchandise to ensure that it is correctly priced and displayed and that it functions as advertised. Monitor sales activities to ensure that customers receive satisfactory service and quality goods. Instruct staff on how to handle difficult and complicated sales. Assign employees to specific duties. Keep records of purchases, sales and requisitions. Plan and prepare work schedules and keep records of employees’ work schedules and time cards. Review inventory and sales records to prepare reports for management and budget department. Establish operational policies and develop marketing plans or strategies. |

| Qualification Requirements: | High School/GED graduate. 24 months work experience as a Store Manager. Proficient in MS Office application such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS Publisher and DDMS Software. Knowledge of office and school products. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction . Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods and coordination of people and resources. Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration sales techniques and sales control systems. Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition and grammar. Knowledge of principles and procedure for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems. Must have the ability to talk to others to convey information effectively. Must have the ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions and approaches to problems. |
