| Job Duties: | Drives truck to deliver company’s merchandise to retail stores on sales route. Reviews lists of customers and loads merchandise in trucks. Writes customer orders and sales contracts according to company guidelines. Collects money from customers, makes change and records transactions on customer receipts. Arranges merchandise and sales promotion displays for customers. Records sales and delivery information on daily sales or delivery record. Listens to and resolves customers' complaints regarding products. Informs customers of new products and price changes. Calls on prospective customer to solicit new business. | Comments: | The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing on October 1, 2019 to September 30, 2022. The job opportunity requires the workers to travel, in an Employer provided vehicle, to Employer's retail customers in all villages in the MSA of Saipan. Workdays will be Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Housing is optional. At the worker's option, the Employer will assist the worker in securing housing consisting of a bedroom with shared bathroom, shared kitchen, & shared living room/dining space at a monthly rate, excluding utilities, of $200 per bedroom or $100 if 2-person shared bedroom. The worker is responsible for paying for the cost of the housing. No deduction will be made from the worker's pay for the housing. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the workers at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the workers complete 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the workers’ transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the workers are dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the workers’ reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the workers originally departed to work, except where the workers will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a workers’ voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
