| Job Duties: | Install, service, or repair heating and air conditioning systems in residences or commercial establishments. Test pipe or tubing joints or connections for leaks, using pressure gauge or soap-and-water solution. Test electrical circuits or components for continuity, using electrical test equipment. Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring. Discuss heating or cooling system malfunctions with users to isolate problems or to verify that repairs corrected the malfunctions. Repair or service heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to improve efficiency, such as by changing filters, cleaning ducts, or refilling non-toxic refrigerants. Install, connect, or adjust thermostats, or timers. Connect heating or air conditioning equipment to fuel, water, or refrigerant source to form complete circuit. Study blueprints, design specifications, or manufacturers’ recommendations to ascertain the configuration of heating or cooling equipment components and to ensure the proper installation of components. Install auxiliary components to heating or cooling equipment, such as expansion or discharge valves, air ducts, pipes, blowers, dampers, flues, or stokers. Comply with all applicable standards, policies, or procedures, such as safety procedures or the maintenance of a clean work area. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Bachelor or Associates’ degree in electronics or similar field. At least two (2) years of continuous work experience as air conditioning or refrigeration technician to two or less employers. Must meet physical requirements to perform duties such as lifting objects of at least 30-50 pounds with or without assistance of a hand truck or another person. Bending and standing for duration of shift. Ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull or carry heavy objects. Extensive knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Must know how to operate venture meters, water flow meters, turbine flow meters, humidity sensors, hygrometer, auto-ranging meters, clamp-on multi-meters, power saws, pressure indicators, razor knives, screwdrivers, and voltage or current meters. Extensive knowledge of HVAC and electrical system. Must be able to work on weekends or night shift if needed. Must have a good morale character and be trustworthy. | Comments: | EMPLOYMENT BASIS & DURATION: This job opportunity is for a temporary, full-time position beginning October 1, 2019 and ending September 30, 2020. WORK HOURS: Employees hired under this announcement will work on full time employment of at least thirty-five (35) hours per week. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual fist date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. INBOUND/OUTBOUND TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: The employer shall pay for all inbound transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract, or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. PROVISION OF TOOLS, SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT: Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job duties.
